Testimonials;
'I do not know where the last six months have gone, but what a journey! I cannot thank you enough for all your help and support. My time spent with you each week has impacted on my life greatly and I will always be thankful for meeting you. This is not the end of my journey-but merely the beginning for me to put into practice everything I've learned.'
'You held my hand through my journey of pain. I thank you for that. You provided me with a safe place. I thank you for that. You helped me explore the questions and deep, deep feelings of pain, anger, hurt. I thank you for that. You allowed me to weep, talk, question myself from past to present until the smile came back...I thank you for that.'
'Jill, you are amazing! Thank you.'
Thank you so much Jill, you have changed my life.'
Dear Jill,
Thank you so much for our sessions together. I really liked working with you. I appreciate your honesty, your natural laughter, your authenticity. Thank you for listening and for teaching me various tools to understand human interaction, including the parent/child/adult and drama
triangle frameworks. I love that we were able to arrive at some of my truths together. Thanks for standing by me as we sifted through some of the intellectual stuff to get to some of the emotional.
You asked if you were helpful. My answer is a resounding yes.
Sincere regards,
XXXXXXXX
Looking back at my journey in South Korea, I think I was able to make the best of my last couple of months thanks to the strategies that you taught me along with our weekly conversations. Thank you for having such a positive impact on my life Jill!

Sometimes life’s events make us feel like we have a jumbled ball of wool in our heads. Talking this through in counselling, will help you to unpick the knots, open the wool out and reorganise it, in a way that helps you to make sense of it.
Being truly heard, in a safe confidential space can be the beginnings of making real changes.
How does counselling work?
Each person is different and so I match the tools I have to the needs of the individual. After all, you don’t put up shelves with a hammer!
As an Integrative Person Centred Counsellor, I work in the ‘here and now’ but will integrate other approaches appropriate to your circumstances; Transactional Analysis, Gestalt or Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Feel free to ask me about these during our initial consultation.
By creating a safe space where you know you won’t be judged and that what you tell me will be kept confidential, this allows you the opportunity to consider your issues and the options available to you.
How do I know I can talk to you?
Before taking the courageous step of having counselling, it is important that you feel I am someone you can talk to.
You are welcome to call me on 07736 561758 and have an initial free 20 minute consultation.
You can decide if you would prefer face to face counselling, telephone counselling or counselling by Skype.
Hourly sessions are £50 payable after each session by cash or BACS
Cancellation Policy
I normally have to charge if 24hours notice has not been given.
I work from my home near Stockbridge
Life hands us curved balls at times and can knock us off balance. I should know, I’ve had a few!
Talking to a trained professional counsellor can help you to quickly recover a sense of who you are and regain your resilience.
My experience working with young people.
Originally I trained and worked for twenty years as a Primary Teacher. I majored in Creative Arts and Special Educational Needs. I like bringing this experience and passion to supporting young people, from 11 years upwards, to cope with many of the demands they find overwhelming. I work creatively to help them to explore their issues and support them to create plans for a bright new future.
I use art, modelling, collage, role-play where talking face to face can sometimes cause a barrier. I support them to cope with issues of abuse, bullying, low self-esteem, bereavement, separation anxiety, family breakdown, anxiety, exam pressure and self harming. Sessions are tailored to meet the needs of the individual.
